My Biograpy

I am from Gadsden, Alabama and graduated from Southside High School in 2005. From the time I was a child, I knew that I wanted to attend Auburn University. My family thought I would not be able to handle a large university right out of high school. Despite their advice, I went.

It was a big step for me because I was quiet and shy, but I was determined to break out of my shell. I became involved with Camp War Eagle (CWE) as a parent counselor in Summer 2006. CWE entitled us to perform skits for parents, give campus tours and even act as cheerleaders at the pep rallies for the incoming freshmen and parents. Needless to say, it was the best activity in which I had participated. It's part of the reason I chose public relations.

In Fall 2009, I became an Executive Suite Ambassador in Jordan-Hare Stadium. I used some of the skills that I gained from CWE with this position. Hosting assigned suites every home football game, I became acquainted with many different people.

These two positions are the two main activities that helped me become the person I am today. Amiable, social and outgoing are terms that replace my once quiet and shy characteristics. Of course, there are other activities that influenced my personality change.

I would like to work for a company that would allow me to have constant interaction with people. Developing relationships with people comes as a natural tendency. I believe that treating these relationships with respect is the best way to maintain them.
